Fakhar Zaman and Abid Ali during home series - PCBThe Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted exemption to Usama Mir, Iftikhar Ahmed and Faheem Ashraf from national training camp, starting tomorrow in Lahore. The trio will miss the camp due to personal reasons. Meanwhile, Abid Ali and Fakhar Zaman have been included in the camp. Pakistan's captain in all three formats, Babar Azam and wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan will also miss the camp because they are traveling for Hajj in the second week of June. Sarfaraz Ahmed will miss the camp due to personal commitments whereas Mohammad Nawaz is recovering from finger injury. Players including Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan, who are playing in County Cricket, will complete their contracts.As many as thirteen spinners, 11 fast bowlers, and 14 batters will undergo specialised training camps from June 10 to 21.  The upcoming first assignment of the national team after a gap of almost three months will be the ICC Test Championship matches against Sri Lanka.
